Is it just me or does it seem like gay rights issues are exploding all over the news and media all of a sudden? I mean, I realize I'm going to notice them more then the average person, and sometimes I go hunting for them, but today on yahoo news (the first 3 at the top of the first page), here are some of the headlines:

Being an ex-Mormon, and a lesbian, this whole issue hits too close to home. I cannot believe this ignorant, hateful speech given by this Mormon leader, especially in light of the past few weeks and the rash of suicides by gay youth.
